Paris Saint-Germain Academy Qatar takes part in Generation Amazing Festival 2019
Coordinated by the ‘Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy’ ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the ‘Generation Amazing’ initiative uses the power of football to carry out cultural and educational programmes for youngsters across the Gulf, Middle East and Asia.
From 15 to 19 December, the ‘Generation Amazing Festival 2019’ has brought together 150 youngsters aged between 16 and 24 from 12 different countries in Doha.
The participants take part in a football tournament and various workshops. They also had the chance to take in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Monterrey. The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Qatar has contributed to the festival by training and supervising the coaches leading the workshops. The training of the coaches took place the week prior to the festival with theory sessions indoors and practical work on pitches outside.
